Boulder, Colorado, 17 September 2018 — Cataworx Inc., a telecommunications software technology vendor, is excited to announce their selection as a technology partner for the Proof-of-Concept (PoC) Showcase demonstrations presented at MEF18 global networking event held Oct 29 to Nov 2 2018 in Los Angeles, CA.
MEF18 focuses on accelerating worldwide adoption of assured services orchestrated across automated networks, with a target audience of 1,000+ attendees from 275+ companies and 35+ countries; 250+ service and technology executives; 120 expert speakers, 115+ sponsors and partners; and more.
Cataworx, along with technology partner Clear Blockchain Technologies, will highlight automated commercial interactions with industry leading service providers PCCW Global, CBCcom, Sparkle, Tata Communications and Liquid Telecom. The PoC team will demonstrate inter-carrier workflows including product offer discovery, quote, order, billing and settlement involving standards-based APIs and blockchain technology.
Key Cataworx technology innovations to be demonstrated include:
Cataworx Community Portal featuring Catabot, an artificial intelligence bot, enabling customers to search and receive real-time quotes for connectivity services via an intent-based natural language interface.
Driving Cataworx portal is a network of MEF standards-based federated product catalogs. By federating service provider product catalogs, Cataworx technology creates a distributed and decentralized network of discoverable data connectivity offerings across any number of carriers. Through Cataworx’s standard LSO Sonata API-based B2B partner integration, quotes are generated in seconds across multiple wholesale partner operators. A built-in analytics engine enables data-driven service provider insights into catalog product searches and quote customer interactions.
Cataworx greatly reduces the time-to-quote by eliminating the need for costly multiple bilateral agreements and manual exchange of custom spreadsheets. Automation and standardization of the pre-sales activities and information exchange provides tremendous opportunities for service providers looking to deliver next generation services based on MEF standards. The MEF 3.0 LSO Framework diagram shown below illustrates key Commercial and Business Application interfaces which will be presented during the PoC demonstration.
“We are excited about bringing our software solutions to the telecom pre-sales operations space,” said Brian Hedstrom, Co-Founder and CEO. “We’ve spent the past year gaining a deep understanding of the pain points operators face with pre-sales and partner integrations. The consistent theme is a lack of automation where inefficient and error-prone manual processes are a bottleneck to delivering agile on-demand services.”
Adolfo Perez-Duran, Co-Founder and CTO, said: “We have invested heavily in technologies such as collaboration, intent, natural language and AI to simplify the user experience. Cataworx is focused on driving down Telco operating expenditures and creating a revolutionary customer experience, moving more control into their customers hands. We remain committed to the success of the MEF LSO Framework and our team actively contributes to the Sonata and Cantata interface definitions.”
Cataworx, Inc. based in Boulder, Colorado is redefining how communications service providers buy and sell wholesale connectivity services. Cataworx was founded on the principles of helping Service Providers automate service lifecycle stages using software automation and integrations via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
Cataworx software solutions automate much of the pre-sales processes in the buying and selling of wholesale services. This equates to a faster time-to-revenue, reduced operational costs and increase in revenue opportunities. Our platform connects wholesale carriers via standards-based APIs through a network of distributed product catalogs, intent-driven customer portals (using Artificial Intelligence bots) and east-west inter-carrier B2B integrations.
